Some of the boats/houses. It was weird touring the boats where people were living. You could see them going about normal life on the boats. Washing clothes, playing cards,and we even saw their dogs running around the boats. It was weird touring there because it felt a little like people in a zoo. Touring someone's neighborhood for enjoyment. Still....fascinating.
There is an entire village of boats here in Hong Kong. Our guide told us the people who live here are born on the boats, spend their entire lives on the boats, and die on the boats. Just like we get seasick, they get landsick. It was fascinating and leaves you with a lot of questions about how they go about their daily lives.
