Okay, so we didn't finish. Did you really think we would? But we got close. We ran into some problems. Thank Goodness my Jeff is handy. He replaced part of the subfloor that was water damaged and bowed up. And we bought a table saw today that he had to put together. He even continued working after I quit for nappy-nappy time.
At the end of the day, the dining room is finished. The living room will be finished soon, and we decided to treat the foyer as a completely separate room. It will be easier to use a transition piece than carry the wood across and cut around another door way.
We certainly have imperfection. But it's not bad. And the money we saved......shooowwwweeeeee. I think it's gonna buy us a hot tub. Now there's something that will ease the wait for Zoe.

wow that is an awesome improvement.. when you are done, maybe you could come down here, and help us do ours.. now THAT would ease the wait for zoe, wouldn't it?
