A daredevil, she is not!

Here's a little video clip that shows how cautious my girl is. Maybe this explains why she was such a late walker. On the flip side...she rarely falls.

I remember when Glenn discovered curbs. Just wait until she's going up & down & up & down & up & down... For the longest time, I couldn't just walk through a parking lot without stopping for a few minutes at the curbs.

OK, that was too funny! My oldest Leah was a late walker (14 months) and was and still is extra cautious when it comes to anything physical. We now have her swimming and skiing, although she had take it real slow at first. Looks like Zoe might be the same way. My youngest Maya is the exact opposite - walking at 9 months, she would have flown off that curb! We have a feeling she will be out-skiing her sister once we get her on some skis!

Our girls do the same thing when they encounter a threshold...especially if the floor changes from say hardwood to vinyl. Sometimes, they crawl over it :)

Oh, I know little Zoe will outgrow the fear of curbs really fast. Just let her hang out with her little daring friend... you know... LOL. She'll teach her some things... ha ha ha ha.
See you soon!

... and actually, I beg to differ.... she was on that roller coaster and having quite a bit of fun last time you guys were over...

Let's just say some thing have no "curb appeal" to her.

Good Evening Georgia, Jeff & Zoe,

My name is Lila Huggins. My husband (of 36 yrs) and I live in College Park, GA. I have spent all evening going back to the beginning of your blog and reading all about you and Zoe and your heart-warming wait to get her.

I started reading China Adoption blogs as a homeschool assignment with my 4 youngest grandchildren, Caleb 10, Julien 7, Ilana 5 and Sadie 3. We have truly enjoyed them.
Now, I'm not sure if it's because you live in Atlanta or because your story was so awesome or because Zoe is the most beautiful little girl EVER but your story really filled our hearts with joy!
Georgia, I read alot of blogs because I have breast cancer and when I have chemo it really puts me out for several days. I enjoy reading about new adoptive parents because beofre i found out I had breast cancer my dear hubby and I were going to adopt or at least foster several children. We love kids. We were blessed with two beautiful daughters and 8 magnificent (in my opinion LOL)granchildren. I enjoyed yourblog more than any other I have ever read. I think it's because you really put your heart and soul into it. It's funny, heart-warming, sad sometimes, joyful, and REAL! You write how you feel and it comes across to your readers. i feel I almost know you and your family.
I hope you continue to blog although you said you may stop. We would love to continue watching Zoe grow up and watching you become such a wonderful Mom!

God Bless you all,
Miss Lila in Atlanta and
grandkids.
