I've been so worried about my girl not crawling, but this morning....SHE DID!! I'm so happy. She's still awfully wobbly, and you have to have something she really wants, but she did it! Right now she is fighting a double ear infection and a beast of a fever, so she didn't do much more crawling after this morning's adventure. Most of the rest of the day was spent in Mommy's arms, which is apparently the only place she wants to be when she feels bad.
Here is a video from last week when she first learned how to sit up on her own. I think this was only the 5th time she ever did it.
And this is video of this morning's crawling excitement.
Finally, this is the view I have of my girl in my arms.
Glenn was a late crawler and everybody told me it was nothing to worry about - a friend's son never crawled... went from rolling to walking. He's now 6'2" and just graduated from HS. So even if she hadn't crawled, it wouldn't have been horrible.
BTW, Glenn's got the double ear infection going on right now, too. It's just awful when they feel bad, but doesn't it melt your heart that it's Mommy she wants?
HA HA, I love how she "revs up" before-hand! And the fact that she did it all for a cookie - she is my kind of girl! Even though I'm not posting on my adoption blog anymore (I suppose I really need to update that), we really should try to get our girls together!
I totally love "American Woman" playing in the background of the sitting video - oh BeHAVE!!!
She looks beautiful, and she is movin! I still just want to pinch those cheeks!!
We have been a plague house pretty much since we saw you - Andrew had Mono (I know - who the heck was my 8 year old kissing!) and I have had a violent stomach virus and now a chest cold that has me sounding like Barry White. Anyway, we would love to catch up soon!!

Yippee! Congrats! She's on the move now!
Way to go Zoe!! Next thing you know she'll be running and the days of not having to chase her everywhere will be just a fond memory.
woohoo, she'll be walking before you know it! How tall is she...she looks really tall!!!
