After that we headed to the county's early intervention office for our first meeting with them. I'm glad we did, because I walked away with a better idea of things I should be working on with Zoe while I am home with her.
It doesn't should like much, but that took up the entire morning and messed with Zoe's schedule. When I got home I had a sleeping baby in my arms and discovered the dog had had a horrible smelly accident all over the kitchen floor. Zoe cried when I put her down, but the mess needed cleaning up pronto, and just then the TV repair guy showed up. Too much at one time!!
Now it is early afternoon. Zoe is back down for a nap. I have dishes and laundry running, and when Zoe wakes up we are off to Nana's for a visit. Hopefully Jeff will be home after that to help me tidy up the house because we have family coming in town tonight for a weekend visit.
Whew! I once laughed at mom's complaining how hard and how busy they are. I get it now. I really get it. One little baby makes everything so much more complicated.
But look how cute!! Dried snot and all. It is all so worth it.

ha ha.... they keep you busy, but only as much as you let them and as much you let it drive you crazy. There is sanity between all of this.
Glad all went well at the docs. O needed two lab appointments too, since she simply didn't have enough to give for what they all wanted.
Dried snot??? What dried snot? I only see those to DIE for lashes!!
She is a total trooper, and you are too! Hang in there, Sloopy...
Babies do complicated things, don't they? LOL!
Have fun with those stool samples! :)
I remember the day we took EllaKate for her shots and blood work. We had 4 adults holding her down. She was so strong and I was crying my eyes out! Whew! Hope Zoe sleeps well tonight and has a good day tomorrow. Sometimes they are pretty fussy the day after shots. I love all the pictures you have posted. Zoe is a living doll!!!
