I've been more than a little cranky since the last batch of referrals. (Just ask Jeff...poor thing) The serious possibity of a September referral has jumped in front of me and it was quite a shock. Not sure what was shocking about it. Every month it moves back more, but I thought for sure. FOR. SURE. that August was the end. It couldn't possibly be any later than August.
But, no....
Once again another month (potentially) has been added to the wait. Now I don't think it could possibly be any later than September. There's no way. But next month, will I say October?
It's been a long time since the adoption wait brought me this far down. I know it's a cycle and it won't last forever, but it surely stinks right now.

I really thought that China would match farther than they did. It totally sucks. On the bright side, you won't have to be in China when it is like 100 degrees outside - like me! Hang in there!
Totally relate. Wasn't a pleasant site in our house this week either! But at least we are all in this wait together.

Sorry you are down. I think you should have faith in a August referral....suppose September is possible (that would be the beginning of September). I know October 24th was not that great...but it wasn't horrrible either.......You might be asking yourself why I care... I have a late November LID....so I know how you feel.. I have been waiting almost 16 months since LID...
Hang in there. December is a much, much smaller month than November; it will go faster when they finish up this month.....

Hey Guys! I have had August in my mind for a while, not sure where it came from, but it's been in my mind since this past Dec. So, let's keep our fingers crossed that it will be August!!
