PRESENTS!!!
It's Secret Pal time again!! The theme this month was "Travel to China" And my pal did a great job with disposable bibs, a great travel book that's full of extra tidbits, and a map of China. We'd been wanting a map, so this was a super gift.

Rachel Ray subscription = my pleasure. You and Deanna know she's not my favorite Food Network star, but one of her ideas has won me over. Her garbage bowl.
Until now, my "garbage bowl" has been the kitchen sink. No more. I'm not going to use a bowl, I'm going to use a plastic grocery bag. Isn't that clever?
Hey you guys, aren't you proud? Mom's re-re-cycling those plastic bags...they're not just for kitty litter anymore. And tah dah!! my kitchen sink will no longer be the holding area for toxic waste.

Rachel Ray rocks! Sure she's annoying, sure she's no rocket scientist, sure she's no Emerill. But she got me in the kitchen, got me competent to cook and got me excited about it. Mom, the family thanks you for my RR subscription...we all eat better for it!
